Intro
Back here again? You are the real MVP!

Let’s get to it 😎
Full Gap…Power to the Creative Ones!
Freelancer.
Self-employed.
All of these titles may make anyone believe it means “self-employed and without systems” because it is just one person handling all the tasks.
…and that is what Full Gap hopes to solve. To organise your enterprise.
If you are a freelancer, you are probably aware of this cycle: too many tasks for you alone to handle, missed deadlines, misplaced priorities, and unsatisfied customers.
If you know this cycle, you should check out this product.
Right from the home page, you already see that Full Gap is promising to be your project manager so that you can handle tasks like an institution…and enterprise.
Two things got me to click the “Try Full Gap for Free” button: the agreements tool and the fact that I can handle payments from the site.
Initially, you couldn’t sign up from your mobile phone because of how the platform is built, but in August, they made it available for mobile. However, you can only sign up through the website.
The onboarding process is pretty straightforward:
Step one: fill in your name and email
Step two: For now, it is designed for individuals/freelancers (looking forward to the “teams” version)
Step three: Create a password
Step four: Agree to terms and conditions
The next thing I tried as soon as I got in was to create a project and an agreement with a client.
The first thing I noticed was that if you are not used to breaking down stuff when accepting a project, Full Gap will force you to.
You have to give details about the project, the deliverables involved, the payment details for the job, and create an agreement with the client. You can create a project roadmap with Full Gap.
When I was done, I could invite my client to Full Gap; we could agree to the contract and even communicate about the project there. This means I can track my deliverables, and the client can too.
Say goodbye to missing deadlines. Hopefully ; )

🔫 IoTs in the water
Brief; Water quality monitoring using IoT involves placing special sensors in water sources like rivers, lakes, and reservoirs. These sensors constantly measure things like temperature, pollution levels, and other important factors. The data collected is sent through the internet to a central place for analysis. This helps identify problems with water quality quickly, like pollution or contamination.

If you could describe your career journey in one sentence, what would it be?
It has been a combination of effort, hard work, and grace.
What’s the most unusual job application you’ve ever received?
I have received a lot of job applications, but the one that pisses me off is screening a lot of underqualified candidate’s applications.
What’s one piece of career advice that might surprise us but actually works?
Pick one area of interest, learn in that field, hone your skills, build your portfolio and your skills will start to speak for themselves.
As a creator on social media, what’s the most common question you get asked and what’s the answer?
Not a question per se, most people reach out for job opportunities, the thing is, I can only help a few.
If you could help a Gen-Z create their dream job, what would it look like and what skills would it require?
Where their strength lies. There is no time and resources to pursue a career where they have limited strength. The only thing needed to help them create/get their dream job is a willingness to trust the process.
If you could have any famous person as a mentor, who would it be and why?
I really am not a mentor kind of person. I admire people, but I always think that what works for them may not work for me. However, I have people who have contributed to my growth in one way or another and I feel happy to have them in my life. Let’s just say, anyone who contributes positively to my journey motivates me.
Imagine your life was a movie, what would be the tagline?
It can only get better.
What has been the most fun content to make on your social media?
About a time I was caught cooking concoction rice in the boarding school. I was in JSS 3 and I think I have this content only on my YouTube. lol
What's your go-to way to de-stress after a busy workweek?
Food oh! Movies and plenty of food.
What's the most exciting thing you’re working on currently?
Creating and pushing a platform/community that helps job seekers fast-track their career, and offer career consultation and career tips through @careerswithbukola on social media and groups.
Until next week,
