…plus sweet conversations with a few Zumies about what the future of work means to them.

Let’s get to it 😎
Simple and Sweet Covers this Issue’s Product…
Unboxd calls on you to create the wishlist of your, well, wishes, so that people always know what to get you. Unless they have coconut heads. But they will not have coconut head when it is time to buy your gift *aggressively tufiakwas.*
Unboxd caters to individuals as well as organizations so you can share this with HR at work.
When you sign up, you land on your spanking new dashboard where you are prompted to create a wishlist. The wishlist can have a cover photo, you choose what category it is, from engagement to charity, and add a due date so people know to hurry up..
One of the things you notice is the display (I used a PC), as you can’t really view the whole page. This is likely WIP since Unboxd is in its beta phase. I eventually realized this is more likely a scrolling issue across pages and dialogs.
When adding items to your list, the site automatically populates the name of the item and price when you drop a link from say, Amazon. However, this is limited to a few supported sites (13 at the moment, including Konga, Slot, and Roving Heights). If you can’t find a site you want amongst the 13, there’s somewhere to fill in suggestions so they can add them in the future if there is enough demand for them.
The wallet on your dashboard shows people’s contributions to your cause and the withdrawals you’ve made on the amount.
How does Unboxd make money? While there is no pricing plan on the site, and it’s free to use (for now), you’ll notice that the price listed for all your items includes a 5% (on the item) fee for every item added to the list. Essentially, the people who are getting you stuff are also paying Unboxd for its service to you.

🇿🇦 In South Africa, virtual reality safaris are an opportunity to witness the country's diverse wildlife, including the Big Five, through 360-degree video and immersive experiences.
